Shopify connects your store so chat can use catalog, cart, and checkout, and so the Get Shopify order status tool can look up an order.

Prerequisites

  • A Shopify store (domain like your-store.myshopify.com)
  • A staff account that can approve the Botcadence app
  • Permission to add integrations on the project

Connect

1

Open Add Integration

In the project sidebar, select Integrations, then Add Integration. Select Connect on the Shopify card.
2

Enter store domain

On Store domain, enter Shop domain (for example your-store.myshopify.com). Do not include https://.
3

Authorize Shopify

Approve access to the store when Shopify asks.
4

Finish

Complete the wizard until you see Shopify Connected!

Verify

On Integrations, the row shows Connected.
Enable Get Shopify order status on a test agent and look up a real order number from that store.

Use it

Order status tool

Enable Get Shopify order status on chat AI Configuration or a workflow Tools tab. Select this Shopify connection.

Catalog and checkout in chat

After the store is connected, catalog sync and product or checkout experiences that depend on Shopify use this connection. Configure catalog from the product surfaces that mention Shopify (including WhatsApp catalog if you use that channel). This Integrations card is the store authorization.

Limits

  • The domain must be the .myshopify.com host (or the shop domain Shopify expects in the field), not a custom storefront URL unless the wizard accepts it.
  • Uninstalling the app in Shopify or letting the staff account lose access breaks the connection until you connect again.

Troubleshooting

Complete the Shopify approval screen, allow pop-ups, and enter the shop domain exactly as Shopify shows it.
Enable Get Shopify order status, select this integration, and use an order identifier that exists on that store.
Disconnect or add another Shopify integration for the correct myshopify.com domain.
