Google Sheets lets you send completed-conversation data to a spreadsheet and use the Google Sheets agent tool so the assistant can work with the same workbook during a chat or call.

Prerequisites

  • A Google account that can open the target spreadsheets
  • Permission to add integrations on the project
  • Spreadsheets that already exist in Google Drive (the wizard does not create a blank sheet for you)

Connect

1

Open Add Integration

In the project sidebar, select Integrations, then Add Integration. Select Connect on the Google Sheets card.
2

Authorize Google Account

Sign in with Google and grant access so Botcadence can read and write the sheets you choose.
3

Select Google Spreadsheet

After Google returns you to the dashboard, pick one or more spreadsheets. Use Choose from Google Drive if the list is empty. You can select multiple workbooks.
4

Finish

Complete the wizard until you see Google Sheets Connected!
If you close the page after Google sign-in but before you pick spreadsheets, the connection is incomplete. Open Integrations, edit the Google Sheets row, and finish the picker.

Verify

On Integrations, the row shows Connected. Google Sheets also needs a successful Google sign-in; if status looks connected but the picker never ran, edit the connection and choose spreadsheets.
Open the spreadsheet in Google Drive and confirm you still have edit access with the same Google account you authorized.

Use it

Agent tool

On chat AI Configuration or a workflow Tools tab, enable Google Sheets. Select this connection, the spreadsheet, and the columns the agent may use.

Post-conversation export

On a campaign, inbound, or channel Integrations tab, turn on field extraction and set Destination to this Google Sheets connection. Choose the sheet and columns. You can add optional Google Sheets Push Conditions so a row is written only when those column conditions match.
Extracted fields can stay in-app only, or go to Google Sheets, Zapier, or a CRM/webhook connection. You attach one extra destination at a time (not Sheets and Zapier together).

Automations

When an automation exports on conversation completed, you can send the payload to Google Sheets the same way: pick this integration, sheet, and columns.

Limits

  • You must pick at least one spreadsheet before the integration is fully set up.
  • The Google account must keep access to those files. If someone removes sharing, export and the agent tool fail until you reconnect or pick another sheet.
  • Column names in the dashboard must match how you want rows to appear in the workbook.

Troubleshooting

Finish the spreadsheet picker. Google Sheets is a two-step connect: authorize, then choose workbooks.
Confirm the Google account owns or can access spreadsheets. Create a sheet in Drive first, then choose it from Google Drive in the wizard.
Confirm the campaign, inbound, or channel has this connection as Destination, extraction is enabled, and any push conditions are not filtering every conversation out.
Enable Google Sheets on the agent or workflow and select this integration plus a spreadsheet. Connecting on Integrations alone does not turn the tool on.
