- One or more receiving numbers (organization phone numbers, or a connected WhatsApp Business number for WhatsApp calling)
- A published voice workflow (prompt, voice, and tools)
Prepare the voice flow under Build → Workflows. Preview TTS in Voice Lab and the full flow in Playground before go-live. Outbound dialing is under Outreach → Campaigns, not Inbounds.

Open your project
Sign in and open the project that should answer calls.

Go to Inbounds
In the project sidebar, under Deploy, select Inbounds.
Create an inbound
Select Create (or New inbound) on the Inbounds page, then choose the inbound type if prompted.1. Basic setup
Define the inbound’s identity and workflow. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.- Inbound type — Phone call (organization telephony numbers) or WhatsApp call (answer voice calls on your connected WhatsApp Business number).
- Inbound name — A clear label (for example,
Customer Support Line). - Description — Optional purpose note.
- Workflow — Select an active voice workflow for this line. Chat workflows do not appear here.
2. Settings
Configure numbers and call limits. Phone call- Inbound phone numbers — Select one or more organization numbers callers can dial. Add numbers under organization phone settings first if the list is empty.
- Maximum call duration (seconds) — Cap each call to control cost and resources.
- Timezone — Used for date and time in conversations.
- Receiving numbers / reply sender — Choose WhatsApp Business numbers that are ready for calling (and a default reply sender when you have more than one).
- Call recording — Toggle recording on or off.
- Echo cancellation and noise suppression — Optional call quality controls.
- Maximum call duration and Timezone — Same meaning as phone inbounds.
3. Review and create
Confirm the summary, then Create. The inbound appears on the list. Open it anytime to edit settings or check status.After go-live
- Monitor live and historical calls in Operate → Conversations
- Review phone metrics on Call Insights
- Open an inbound’s analytics from the Inbounds list when you need line-level views
