Calendly connects your scheduling account so the Book with Calendly tool can offer open times and create bookings during a conversation. A personal access token is the private code that lets Botcadence use that account.

Prerequisites

  • A Calendly account with at least one event type
  • A Personal Access Token from Calendly (Integrations or developer settings in Calendly)
  • Permission to add integrations on the project

Connect

1

Open Add Integration

In the project sidebar, select Integrations, then Add Integration. Select Connect on the Calendly card.
2

Paste your token

On Calendly Token, enter Personal Access Token. Keep this secret.
3

Wait for validation

The wizard retrieves your Calendly profile. When it succeeds, you see Calendly Connected!

Verify

On Integrations, the row shows Connected.
Enable Book with Calendly on a test agent, start a conversation, and confirm the agent can list your event types or offer a booking link.

Use it

Enable Book with Calendly on chat AI Configuration or a workflow Tools tab. Select this Calendly connection. The agent uses your Calendly event types to help the customer schedule. Availability still follows what you configured in Calendly (hours, buffers, and cancellations).

Limits

  • A revoked or expired personal access token breaks booking until you edit the integration and paste a new token.
  • The tool only works after you enable it and pick this connection. Connecting Calendly on Integrations is not enough by itself.

Troubleshooting

Create a new personal access token in Calendly and paste it again. Do not add extra spaces.
Enable Book with Calendly, select this integration, and confirm event types exist and are public enough for the token’s account.
The token belongs to one Calendly user. Connect the account that owns the event types you want, or create a separate integration for another host.
