Zendesk connects your Zendesk account so the workflow Create ticket and Get ticket status tools can open and look up tickets in Zendesk. You enter the subdomain, then sign in with Zendesk.

Prerequisites

  • A Zendesk account
  • The subdomain from your Zendesk URL
  • Permission to authorize Botcadence in that account
  • Permission to add integrations on the project

Connect

1

Open Add Integration

In the project sidebar, select Integrations, then Add Integration. Select Connect on the Zendesk card.
2

Enter your subdomain

On Zendesk subdomain, enter the subdomain only, such as yourcompany for yourcompany.zendesk.com.
3

Sign in with Zendesk

On Sign in with Zendesk, authorize Botcadence to create and look up Zendesk tickets.
4

Wait for the success screen

When the wizard finishes, you see Zendesk connected.

Verify

On Integrations, the row shows Connected.
Enable Create ticket on a test agent, select this Zendesk connection, and confirm a follow-up opens a ticket in Zendesk.

Use it

Enable Create ticket or Get ticket status on a workflow Tools tab. Select this Zendesk connection. Both tools use the same selected ticket service. Leave the provider set to Botcadence Ticket Service to keep tickets inside Botcadence.

Limits

  • Create ticket needs a customer email.
  • Operate → Tickets still shows only Botcadence-native tickets.

Troubleshooting

Confirm the subdomain is correct and matches yourcompany.zendesk.com. Sign in again with an account that can create tickets in that Zendesk account.
Enable Create ticket and Get ticket status, and select this Zendesk connection. Confirm the Integrations row is Connected.
