# Catalog

> Sync Shopify products into Meta for WhatsApp catalog templates

**Catalog** mirrors products from your [Shopify](/docs/build/integrations/shopify) store into Meta so you can use catalog and multi-product message templates.

Open **WhatsApp** in the project sidebar, then select **Catalog**.

## Prerequisites

* WhatsApp connected on [Overview](/docs/outreach/whatsapp)
* A connected Shopify integration for this project

Until WhatsApp is connected, this tab shows **Catalog unavailable**. Without Shopify, the page asks you to connect the store and links to **Integrations**.

## Sync from Shopify

    Under **Outreach**, select **WhatsApp**, then **Catalog**.

  <Step title="Choose the store">
    If more than one Shopify store is connected, select **Shopify store**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start sync">
    Select **Sync from Shopify**, then confirm **Start sync**. Status moves through Not synced, Syncing, Synced, or Error.

  <Step title="Review products">
    Under **Synced products**, use **Refresh** and open **View in Shopify** when you need the source listing.

  Status shows **Synced** and the product list includes items with images from Shopify.

Products stay managed in Shopify. Botcadence publishes them to Meta on sync. Empty Shopify catalogs (no products with images) produce an empty synced list.

## Manual product upsert

When you need a single product without a full sync, fill **Product ID**, **Title**, **Price amount**, **Currency**, **Image URL**, **Product page URL**, and **Description**, then select **Save product to Meta**. Product id, title, and image URL are required.

  Catalog and multi-product templates are Marketing-only in Meta and need this catalog synced. [Broadcasts](/docs/outreach/broadcasts) cannot send those template types from this product yet.
