# Search media

> Find images, videos, and documents from the project media library

**Search media** finds images, videos, and documents in the project media library so the agent can share or describe them in chat.

This tool is **chat only**. It does not appear on Voice workflows.

## Prerequisites

* Files in the project media library
* A **Chat** workflow (or chat **AI Configuration**)

## Enable

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Tools">
    Open a chat workflow, select an **Agent**, **Supervisor**, or **Task**, then open **Tools**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Turn it on">
    Under **Knowledge**, enable **Search media**. There is no extra configure dialog.
  </Step>

<Check>
  Ask for a file you uploaded. The agent finds it in the library.

<Note>
  Voice **Tools** hides this row. Use a chat workflow when customers need media from the library.
