# Profile and Password

> Update your personal details, notification preferences, and password

Your account menu contains **My Profile** and **Change Password**. These settings belong to you, not to one organization or project.

## My Profile

Open your account menu and choose **Profile**. You can:

* Update your name.
* Upload or change your profile picture.
* Turn notification sounds on or off.
* Adjust the sound volume.
* Open the password screen.

Select **Save Changes** after editing your name. Use a clear picture and name so teammates can recognize you in conversations and audit history.

## Change Password

Open **Change Password** from your profile. Enter your current password, type the new password, and enter it again to confirm. Select **Change Password** when both new entries match.

If you cannot remember your current password, use **Forgot Password** on the sign-in screen to request a reset link.

  Never share your password, API keys, or provider keys with another person. Use organization and project roles when someone needs access.
